Certified Criminal Law Specialist John R. Fielding, Jr.

Mr. Fielding was born in Chicago, Illinois, into a family of attorneys. He worked as a clerk in his father's law firm at the age of sixteen. He attended the University of Miami and Southern Illinois University as an undergraduate. He moved to southern California in the late 1970's and attended Western State University (now Thomas Jefferson Law School) and was admitted to the California Bar in 1983.

Mr. Fielding has always practiced criminal defense and has more than 25 years of experience. He has represented hundreds of clients in both federal and state courts throughout California and the United States. He has argued state appeals before the Fourth District Court of Appeal and federal appeals before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Fielding is a member of the Criminal Defense Bar Association and the elite Criminal Defense Lawyers Club. In 2001, after years of criminal trial advocacy, Mr. Fielding satisfied intensive requirements and became certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization as a certified criminal law specialist. He was recertified in 2006.

Mr. Fielding remains committed to the defense of all criminal cases. He is one of only ten attorneys in San Diego deemed qualified to represent clients, as the lead attorney, in state cases where the prosecution is seeking the death penalty.

Criminal Defense Attorney Marc S. Levinson

Mr. Levinson is a dedicated, aggressive attorney who works diligently to achieve positive outcomes for his clients. He has successfully argued cases in courts throughout California, including the Fourth District Court of Appeal. Mr. Levinson's criminal law background includes experience with the San Diego County's Public Defender and Alternate Public Defender.

Mr. Levinson received his B.A. in political science as an honor graduate from the University of Arizona in 2000. He attended law school at The California Western School of Law in San Diego, where he received his Juris Doctor and Criminal Law Concentration (cum laude). His law school achievements include four semesters on the Dean's Honor List, membership in the Pro Bono Honor Society, recognition as a Distinguished Advocate for his accomplishments in moot court, participation in the California Western Bail Project and receipt of the Wiley W. Manuel Award for his dedication to community service. Mr. Levinson is a member of the State Bar of California in good standing.
